The MNRC is a national retriever club formed for one purpose- to hold an annual event to showcase the talents of our hunting retrievers. The Master National is a hunt test conducted under the rules and regulations of the AKC Hunt Test program and is licensed by the American Kennel Club. The event is held each year in a location determined by a system of rotation through each of the 4 time zones. Complete information about the 2007 event is available here.

The MNRC Foundation provides funds to a variety of programs benefiting the retriever breeds. The MNRC hosts the annual meeting of the Retriever Hunt Test Advisory Committee, as well as maintaining a Hall of Fame and awarding an annual Women's Challenge Trophy.
